Valentine's Day inspired makeup look from Louise

We’re delighted to bring you the second in our series of Beauty Blogger Tips & Tutorials from Louise of http://looweezbx.blogspot.co.uk/ Louise shares a bright, fun and sparkly look that she created for Valentine’s Day this week......

My name is Louise and I run a cruelty free beauty blog. I'm a 21 year old almost maths graduate (long story) and make up artistry student! I love animals; we have 4 cats and I'm currently pescatarian, and plan to go vegetarian when I move out. I also love reading, singing, eating and irn bru.

My Valentine’s Day inspired look was created with the following:

Eyes

MUA e\s in Shade 16 all over the eye

Neve Cosmetics e/s in Collier on lid (used wet)
Nars e/s duo in Kuala Lumpur II in crease

Black gel liner

Black mascara

Lips
OCC Lip Tar in Yaoi
Lime Crime Lipgloss in Snowsicle

The Lip Tar and Lipgloss were sent to me to include in this look. Yaoi is amazing! It's so bright and the finish is very unusual for OCC, it's metallic and slightly shimmery. As with all OCC Lip Tars you hardly need any, and it comes with a handy little lip brush for applying it.

I added the Lime Crime Lipgloss in Snowsicle over the top for even more sparkle. It is a clear gloss filled with multi-coloured sparkles, it is so pretty and it smells amazing. My lips are ridiculously dry at the moment so once my lips are back to normal I will do a swatch on this without anything underneath it to show how lovely it is.

Get the Look: X-Factor’s Charlie - Rainbow Bright Eyes!

Pics of Charlie from MK1 were all over Facebook and Twitter following Saturday night’s second live X-Factor show. We loved her rainbow bright eyes and thought she looked incredibly pretty, so of course, scoured the shelves to see what we could come up with to recreate the look.

Here’s our step by step guide on how to get Charlie’s look!

1. A primer is essential when using this amount of colour. Lime Crime Eyeshadow Helper is the best we’ve tried for maximum colour payoff & lasting power.

2+3. Add Lime Crime Aquataenia in vertical rainbow stripes like Charlie’s, or your own design of choice. Apply it wet for extra drama & a shimmery finish!

4. Balance out the colour on your lower lashline with Neve Pastello in Teal, using the same colour to add definition to your socket line.

5. Complete the look with Lime Crime Centrifuchsia Lipstick

This is the kind of result you can expect with the Lime Crime Aquataenia, a slightly softer version of Charlie’s look!
