New Website Launcing Soon and Loyalty Points

NEW WEBSITE SNEAK PREVIEW!

Launching September 2017
We've been working hard at Cute Towers recently on updating the website.  The new design will bring funky features like wish lists and gift vouchers and improve general website navigation.  We are really excited and can't wait to share it with you all.  We hope to be ready to launch it in September.  Let us know what you think from the sneak preview above.

We've also lined up to re-stock a brand favourite of ours again - can you guess who?
Spend your points before September 2017
Unfortunately with the new website we are unable to move our existing loyalty points programme over.  We have therefore now ceased to provide loyalty points on purchases for the time being.  If you have any loyalty points on your account we would ask you to please spend them in August.  We will look at options to re-instate a programme once the new website is operating.

Beauty Blogger Brush Tips!

We’re delighted to bring you the third in our series of Beauty Blogger Tips & Tutorials from Sophia of Tattooed Tealady Sophia shares her tips on using the eco-friendly BdelliumTools Smoky Eyes Brush Set

Hi! My name is Sophia and I blog over at Tattooed Tealady, a UK beauty blog! Beauty is a huge passion of mine, and I strive to find products wherever I can which are both animal and Planet friendly.

Bdellium Tools is a professional eco-friendly makeup brush brand, whose brushes are made from sustainable bamboo handles, all vegan soft synthetic bristles and are 100% cruelty free! The Bdellium Tools Yellow Bamboo Vegan Smokey Eyes 5 Piece Brush Set contains five brushes perfect for creating any smokey eye your heart desires! Today I am going to share with you the best ways to use these brushes to your advantage for a beautiful smokey eye!

Step 1
The Bdellium Tools 777 brush is an all round eye-shadow brush, perfect for applying shadow across your entire lid. You can use this to apply colour over your lid, as well as adding highlight to your brow bone. This brush is also perfect for adding a pop of colour on to the center of your lid to finish off a look.

Step 2
The Bdellium Toolas 716 brush has the perfect shape for creating a smoky look around the inner corner of your eye. You can use this brush to subtly apply a lighter shimmer shade, opening up your eyes and making them appear bigger and brighter.

Step 3
The Bdellium 781 brush is a crafted brush shaped for applying colour to the crease of your eye. This brush works perfectly to apply a darker shade through your crease without making a mess or altering the paler shades used more towards the inner third of your lid. It’s also great for using your darker shadow shades to subtly line your lower lash line.

Step 4
The Bdellium 769 brush is a sharp angled brush for contouring with intense colour. You can use this brush to apply a darker shade on the outer crease of your eye, and it works perfectly to blend shades through making your eyeshadow look effortlessly and professionally put together.

Step 5
The final brush in the set is the Bdellium Tools 760 brush. This brush is perfect for lining both your upper and lower lash line and can be used to create anything from a slim, subtle liner to a more wide, intense winged liner. You can even use this brush with cream and gel products as well as powder!

By using this brush set and following my five simple steps, you can create a gorgeous smokey eye for anytime of day or night. It’s the perfect set of brushes not only for a smokey eye, but for general eyeshadow application and at just £24.99 it’s a bargain set! You can find it on the CuteCosmetics website here.

I hope you enjoyed my little brush tutorial today! If you did, be sure to check out my blog www.tattooedtealady.com and I hope to see you over there for more beauty reviews!

Valentine's Day inspired makeup look from Louise

We’re delighted to bring you the second in our series of Beauty Blogger Tips & Tutorials from Louise of http://looweezbx.blogspot.co.uk/ Louise shares a bright, fun and sparkly look that she created for Valentine’s Day this week......

My name is Louise and I run a cruelty free beauty blog. I'm a 21 year old almost maths graduate (long story) and make up artistry student! I love animals; we have 4 cats and I'm currently pescatarian, and plan to go vegetarian when I move out. I also love reading, singing, eating and irn bru.

My Valentine’s Day inspired look was created with the following:

Eyes
MUA e\s in Shade 16 all over the eye
Neve Cosmetics e/s in Collier on lid (used wet)
Nars e/s duo in Kuala Lumpur II in crease
Black gel liner
Black mascara
The Lip Tar and Lipgloss were sent to me to include in this look.  Yaoi is amazing! It's so bright and the finish is very unusual for OCC, it's metallic and slightly shimmery.  As with all OCC Lip Tars you hardly need any, and it comes with a handy little lip brush for applying it.

I added the Lime Crime Lipgloss in Snowsicle over the top for even more sparkle.  It is a clear gloss filled with multi-coloured sparkles, it is so pretty and it smells amazing.  My lips are ridiculously dry at the moment so once my lips are back to normal I will do a swatch on this without anything underneath it to show how lovely it is.

I hope you enjoyed this and had a great Valentine's Day - I was at home with my four cats ;)
